About The author

Emma Golding writes romantic historical fiction and fantasy as a healthy outlet for her obsession with sexy banter and swoony grand gestures.

After receiving her B.A. in English Literature, she promptly switched gears and pursued a graduate degree in music. She kept writing, though, prioritizing noveling whenever she could.

Emma loves history, Irish folk tunes, Jane Austen film adaptations, and her piano students. She lives in Chicagoland with her pets and her spouse in her very own Happily Ever After.

Novels by Emma Golding

When a noblewoman’s abduction by a charming pirate captain gives her the opportunity to escape an unhappy future, a surprise reunion with an ex-lover threatens to drag her back to her past.

In Shakespeare’s England, Margaret faces the unpleasant prospect of being given in marriage to another stranger, after the death of her first husband. Her path is disrupted when she is snatched off the street by a pirate, who offers her the chance to flee her troubles aboard his ship—which is also home to the first man who broke her heart. Margaret quickly falls back into old routines even as she embarks on new adventures with the pirate crew, and she faces a choice: give up the ship, its captain, and her burgeoning career as an accountant for a second chance with her former love, or find the strength to escape his wake and set her own course.
